“Night the Artist” is out in the March 19 issue of Highlights for Children. It was purchased in 2009!
On Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m., I’ll be doing a reading/workshop on speculative poetry at Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland as part of “It Takes a Community.” It’s free! I’ll read from my own works but also other Sycorax Press and Sycorax Journal poets and lead writers in finding their inner myths. If you’re in the area, please join me!
“Dandelions,” a poem published by Blastoff in the October 2018 issue, can be seen and heard online on Youtube. Check it out!
“Song of the Severed Feet” (based on Andersen’s tale The Red Shoes) and “Regrets of the Wind Witch” will appear in future postings of Polu Texni.
My children’s poem “Dandelions” is now out in the October issue of Blast-Off, one of the children’s magazines published by the Department of Education in New South Wales, Australia. It’s charmingly illustrated by Gaye Chapman. I love being published by the School Magazine’s different magazines for different age groups; it’s amazing to think that this NYC lady’s work is being read by children on the other side of the globe!
My wee children’s poem, “Beach Glass,” is out in the September issue of Cricket!
