 “Song of the Severed Feet,” based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale “The Red Shoes,” is up on Polu Texni.  

On Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m., I’ll be doing a reading/workshop on speculative poetry at Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland as part of “It Takes a Community.”  It’s free!  I’ll read from my own works but also other Sycorax Press and Sycorax Journal poets and lead writers in finding their inner myths. My children’s poem “Dandelions” is now  out in the October issue of Blast-Off, one of the children’s magazines published by the Department of Education in New South Wales, Australia.  It’s charmingly illustrated by Gaye Chapman.  I love being published by the School Magazine’s different magazines for different age groups; it’s amazing to think that this NYC lady’s work is being read by children on the other side of the globe!
